Karianne is a fine artist and writer who has been involved in the Arts all her life. Born in 1990, Kari attended public school until the 4th grade, then transferred into a charter home school program where she truly flourished with her love for art and creative expression. She began taking pottery classes through home school, and discovered a love for hand sculpting. At the age of fourteen, having outgrown the chartered courses, she began taking ceramics through Columbia College. Along the way, she picked up acrylic painting, cartooning, illustration, film and digital photography, and creative writing. She feels drawn to never just one medium and frequently switches between them. To this day, Kari continues with her passion for art; she is most certainly always up to something creative or quirky with eagerness to continue to learn and grow.
